  • (MBTS) The Master Beam Tooling System is a 4th axis tooling system that saves
        expensive set-up time.
  • The beam itself, is ground for precision and is on the centerline of the 4th axis.
  • The bolt patterns of the beam allow the use of fixtures up to 8" X 10",
        the most common size being 6" X 6". It can also accommodate up to an 8"
        chuck or a 4" vise.
  • Beams come in different lengths, so you can use multiple fixturing and chucks.
  • The face of the beam, being on centerline, allows for the ease of programming
        work on the 4th axis.



    • In the view below, you can see how 4th axis work can be
         done using a special adapter for the bolster.
    This adapter uses the same bolt patterns as the beam so the
        fixtures are interchangeable.
